Good ring, quick ship

Bought an 'bague ajustable'. Arrived in about a week. Ring fit well. Quality is good for the price. No issues with order. Would buy again.

Beautiful bracelet, clear process

I ordered a 'bracelet manchette' from Aborigenes last month. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and I received a confirmation email right away. It took about 6 days for the bracelet to arrive in New York, which felt reasonable considering it shipped from France. The quality of the craftsmanship is impressive; the bracelet feels solid and the detailing is really well done. I had a question about care instructions so I used their contact form, and customer support got back to me within 24 hours with a helpful, detailed response. It's a unique piece, very much as pictured online, and it's comfortable to wear. Overall, a good experience from start to finish.

Love my new earrings!

I just got my 'boucles d'oreilles dorées à l'or fin' and I absolutely adore them! They are even prettier in person. The gold is shiny and they feel very well made. I got them pretty fast too, like a week and a half, which was cool. I'm already looking at what else to get. I'm going to tell all my friends who like cool, unique jewelry about this store. So happy with my purchase!

Got a necklace, it's nice

I picked up one of their 'colliers pendentifs' a little while ago. It's a cool piece, looks exactly like it did on the site. Shipping was okay, didn't take forever, maybe just over a week. It came well-packaged, nothing was damaged. I wear it often and it still looks good. Happy with it, felt like a solid purchase.

Anyone know if their stuff is actually handmade? Or is it like, 'handmade' in a factory somewhere overseas?

A Amber Q. 1 month ago
I'm pretty sure it's genuinely handmade. They talk a lot about Colombian artisans and pre-Columbian inspiration. Feels legit when you get it.

Yeah, I think it's all crafted by artisans, not mass produced. That's kinda their whole thing, the unique Latin American vibe.

Hey, wondering if anyone's had issues with their jewelry from here turning green or tarnishing fast? I'm eyeing a necklace but worried about quality.

M Marcus Kaur 2 weeks ago
Nah, I've had a pair of earrings for months and they've held up great. No green skin, nothing. Just treat them like any other nice jewelry.

Mine have been fine too. I think they mention on the site they're made from good materials, like gold plated or silver, so it should be okay. Just don't wear them in the shower or anything.

What's the typical shipping time like to California? Trying to get something for a birthday coming up soon.

N Neil Bennett 2 weeks ago
Hmm, I'm in New York and it took about a week and a half for my last order to get here. California might be similar, maybe a little longer.

Mine arrived in like 10 days to Texas. International shipping can be a bit unpredictable, so might be tight for a 'soon' birthday.

Can you combine the newsletter signup discount with a free shipping offer? Trying to save as much as possible lol.

J June 1 month ago
I don't think so, usually coupon codes don't stack with other promos. The free shipping over 60 euros just kicks in automatically though.

G Gwen L. 1 month ago
Yeah, pretty sure it's one discount at a time. But if your order is over the free shipping threshold, that usually just applies anyway.

Has anyone compared their stuff to Nilaï Paris? Is it similar quality or totally different vibe?

E Emma 1 month ago
It's a different vibe for sure. Aborigenes feels more earthy and pre-Columbian inspired, Nilaï is more Parisian chic. Both good quality though.

I think Aborigenes has a more unique, artisanal feel compared to Nilaï. Quality is comparable, just depends on the style you're going for.

Are the rings adjustable? I have pretty small fingers and usually struggle with sizing.

D Daisy P. 2 weeks ago
Some of them are! I have an adjustable one myself. It usually says in the product description if it is.

C Cody Vargas 2 weeks ago
Not all of them are, but they do have a good selection of adjustable rings. Just check the specific item you're looking at.

How easy are returns if something doesn't work out? I'm always hesitant to order jewelry online.

T Tara 2 weeks ago
Returns were super easy for me. Just followed the instructions on the site, no hassle.

Yeah, I had to return an item once and it was pretty straightforward. Got my refund quickly.
